The poem Περί Φύσεως, “About Nature” by Greek philosopher Parmenides tells about the teachings of a female deity, to be identified with “Necessity” (Δίκη). In this work, the author denies the existence of change, thus supporting the stillness and perfection of the Universe.
Nel suo poema Περί Φύσεως, “Sulla natura”, Parmenide è oggetto di una rivelazione da parte di una divinità femminile, da identificarsi con Δίκη. Nell’opera, il filosofo nega l’esistenza del divenire, sostenendo dunque l’immobilità e la perfezione dell’universo.
